Communities from across the Park come together at this year’s Community Partnership AGM & Gathering.

The theme for this year’s Gathering is ‘Our communities – past, present and future‘, and we will be looking at commemorating the past, celebrating the present, and planning for the future!

Join us from 09.30 am for a day packed with information sharing and networking, including a great variety of funders and interest groups on hand with helpful advice and case studies in this year’s Marketplace. This year’s Gathering will have a distinctive heritage theme as we commemorate WW1 with a joint exhibition from over 16 heritage groups and societies in and around the National Park.

Attendance at The Gathering is free to all Community Partnership members. Representatives from all community groups, hall committees, youth groups, business associations, community trusts and community councils are welcome to attend. Gathering 2014 – Booking Form

Once again the Community Partnership will be honouring those individuals and groups within the park who have contributed greatly to the development and enhancement of their communities in our ‘Community Hero’ Awards. We are looking for nominations from communities in the following categories:

• ‘Community Hero – Veteran Award’ (aged 25 +)
• ‘Community Hero – Young Person Award’ (aged 24 or younger)
• ‘Heritage Project of the Year’
